Mike asked Pat out on her 14th birthday (went to see 7 Brides for 7 Brothers at the Capitol Cinema by Bank Street in Tonbridge) and they married 7 years later on her 21st!

Mike was always a family man who was devoted to Pat and the 3 children, as well as keeping up with the wider friends and relations. He was so proud of his 3 nephews - Oliver, Toby and Elliot who are excelling in their sport of hockey with the support of Lyndon and his wife Sam.
