John (my husband) and I had experience of the kindness and generosity of your Dad many years ago when we were organising a fundraising bike ride for the charity we support (Williams Syndrome) which our daughter has. At the time we hosted the stop off point in Tonbridge (from France to Stroud, Gloucestershire) and your Dad, as Mayor, attended the send off the following morning from Tonbridge Castle, fully clad in lycra, regalia & bike!
